나에게 사진은 거울과 같다.
싫든 좋든
원하든 원치 않든
나의 사진 속에
나의 마음이 담기게 된다.
그 사진들을 보면서
때론 행복하고
때론 슬프고
때론 싫으면서도
때론 즐겁고
때론 외로울 때가 있다.
나에게
거울 앞에 서서
그것을 바라보는 것은 언제나 낯설다.

To me, photography is like a mirror.
Whether I like it or not, whether I want it or not, my heart is bound to be captured in my photographs.
Looking at those photographs, I feel sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes hateful, sometimes pleasant, and sometimes lonely.
For me, it's always unfamiliar to stand in front of a mirror and look at it.
